After an exchange proposal has been accepted (whether you sent it or received it), it must be completed on Monopoly GO! to make it effective. Remember that if the exchange is not finalized on Monopoly GO!, the stickers will not be swapped.
Here’s how to proceed:
1. Add the user as a friend on Monopoly GO!
Go to the screen of the accepted proposal on Sticker GO! and click on the green button “ADD FRIEND ON MONOPOLY GO!”. This will open Monopoly GO! and add the user to your friends list.
2. Send the sticker via Monopoly GO!
• Open Monopoly GO! and select “ALBUM” from the main menu, then find the set containing the sticker requested in the accepted proposal on Sticker GO!.
• Select the specific sticker and click on the “Send to a friend” button.
• Set up the exchange by clicking on “Make an exchange!” and select the friend you just added via Sticker GO!.
Note: For 1-to-N exchanges, send the extra stickers first and only use “Make an exchange!” for the final sticker to ensure greater security.
If the other user has already initiated the exchange on Monopoly GO!, you will be able to find the exchange request by going to the “Friends” section; at this point, after verifying that the proposed sticker is the correct one, you will need to select the sticker you need to send to complete your part of the exchange.
Once both have confirmed the exchange the stickers will be added to their respective albums.
PLEASE NOTE: In some cases the stickers are not immediately visible but you will need to perform an action (e.g. roll the dice) or close and reopen Monopoly GO!
3. Confirm the exchange on Sticker GO!
After sending your sticker and verifying that you have received the requested sticker from the other user, return to the screen of the accepted proposal on Sticker GO! and click on the green button “I SENT AND RECEIVED THE CARDS”. This will assign positive feedback to the user, and your Sticker GO! album will be updated automatically.
If something went wrong during the exchange, you can click on the red “REPORT” button to leave negative feedback.
Important Timing
• After acceptance, the proposal will remain active on Sticker GO! for 30 hours. During this time, you can complete the exchange and leave positive or negative feedback.
• If the exchange is not completed within 30 hours, the proposal will expire, and no further actions will be possible.
Note
The actual exchange on Monopoly GO! is entirely managed by Monopoly GO!’s trading system and does not depend on Sticker GO!. Therefore, Sticker GO! cannot intervene in any issues encountered during this phase.
